Straight out of university Kait landed here 'dream' job as a speechwriter for the Canadian government. She had the job, the house, the money that a lot of us strive for but rarely makes us any happier. Stressed and depressed, she was then diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis.
She had to make a change!
Now, Kait spends much of her time traveling the world and helping others create a life of freedom and happiness for themselves.

When something is common, we recognize that we are not alone and that others also deal with this problem as well... But we can't get that confused with what is normal. Normal implies that we are ordinary, that nothing needs to change and that we should continue on living the way we are.
Here's the thing however, until we are shown evidence or talk about what is normal, then by default we consider what is common around us as normal.

We are asking ourselves the wrong question when it comes to our eating habits. We need to shift our focus to "why" we're eating instead of "what" we're eating.
It is not uncommon for us to search for happiness in all the wrong places and Joni Seeto was no exception. Joni who struggled binge and emotional eating, falsely thought that she was the only one who couldn't stick to a diet and for years believed she could achieve happiness through external things.
Growing up in Belgium Joni never learned how to process her feelings and used food to cope which ultimately led to being put on a diet from an early age.
