I'll be back in Canada to see my family for Christmas and get my visa processed so that I can come back to Portugal and live with my boyfriend in January. Woohoo!

I know I've been a little anxious lately between my visa, travelling, the holidays, the new COVID variant as well as having moved to a new city in Portugal (Lisbon to Porto).

Your Food Freedom Tip   

I work with a lot of high-achieving women and this is something that comes up quite often...


"If I am not lovable for who I am, then I will become lovable for what I can do, what I can achieve, and what I can look like."

Perfectionism is addictive because when we experience shame, judgment, and blame (inevitable as humans), we believe it was because we were simply not perfect enough.

This sets us up to feel more shame, judgment, and blame which becomes a cycle.

There are a lot of types of perfectionism that I cover especially in my coaching program but today let's quickly talk about one.

Black and White Thinking 

This thinking style involves seeing only one extreme or the other. You are right or wrong, good or bad, and so on. There are no in-betweens or shades of grey.

e.g., “If I eat one cookie then I've ruined my eating and I am a complete failure”.

Sound familiar?
