Sexologist, goddess and good friend Kristen Murray is back for another kick-ass episode to teach us everything we need to know about being a badass feminine woman.

It is not uncommon in our society to perceive femininity as weak and fragile and masculinity as strong and capable. I was guilty of this and spent the majority of my life trying to avoid being feminine. It is only recently that I have begun to embrace my feminine side and all its untapped power.

In today’s episode, we divulge all there is to know about what it ACTUALLY means to be feminine. Kristen answers questions such as:

  • What is femininity vs. masculinity?
  • What are the biggest myths about feminine and masculine energy?
  • Why is it bad that so many women get stuck in their masculine energy?
  • What action steps can we take to be more in our feminine energy?

July 25, 2019 - EP 28: Yes It's Common... No It's NOT Normal

When something is common, we recognize that we are not alone and that others also deal with this problem as well... But we can't get that confused with what is normal. Normal implies that we are ordinary, that nothing needs to change and that we should continue on living the way we are.

Here's the thing however, until we are shown evidence or talk about what is normal, then by default we consider what is common around us as normal.

In this episode I debate three deeply misunderstood common versus normal topics in our society:

  1. depression
  2. foreboding joy
  3. food guilt

Listen to this episode if you want to challenge how you think about your own life and what is common versus normal for you.

July 18, 2019 - EP 27: Food Psychology 101: It's All About The "Why" with Joni Seeto

We are asking ourselves the wrong question when it comes to our eating habits. We need to shift our focus to "why" we're eating instead of "what" we're eating.

It is not uncommon for us to search for happiness in all the wrong places and Joni Seeto was no exception. Joni who struggled binge and emotional eating, falsely thought that she was the only one who couldn't stick to a diet and for years believed she could achieve happiness through external things.

Growing up in Belgium Joni never learned how to process her feelings and used food to cope which ultimately led to being put on a diet from an early age.

Now Joni is an eating psychology coach living in Australia where she works to bring awareness around binge and emotional eating and shares with others how to recover from disordered eating.

Listen to this episode if you are ready to learn:

  • what next steps to take to heal your relationship with food
  • how to stop binge and emotional eating
  • why you need to get curious...

July 11, 2019 - EP 26: Do You Fit Into The Body Positivity Movement?

Do I fit into the body positivity movement?
This was a question that haunted me for many years and to be honest I thought the answer was no.
No, I don’t fit it because my body does not resemble the people I see calling themselves body positive in media...therefore I cannot be apart of this popular movement, right?
Well as I moved through my eating disorder recovery I began to see the body positivity movement in a different light and I invite you to explore that with me.

In this episode I examine:
  • what it means to be body positive
  • misconceptions around this movement
  • relationship between body positivity and intuitive eating
Listen to this episode if you are ready to discover the meaning behind body positivity and how it can be applied to your life in a real way.
