Let's be real. We all have bad body image days, even me who teaches clients how to love their body.... because we're all human!
Body Freedom Tip
Remember this. You were not born hating your body. You were taught to.
And taught by who?
Taught by those looking to make you feel insecure in order to profit off of you.
When you look in the mirror and make note of all the parts you wish to fix, realize that those thoughts are not your own.
You were conditioned to believe them about yourself in order for diet culture to profit off of you AND keep you distracted, occupied and unable to thrive in society.
When you spend all your time and energy counting calories and wishing to shrink yourself you sacrifice your ability to reach your potential and make a change in the world.
So, please. I beg you. Don't play this dangerous game that diet culture is pushing on you.
Next time you're having a bad body image day I invite you to ask yourself the question, "who profits off this?".
Hint, it's diet culture.
